New Moon in Capricorn Ritual
Hello beautiful People! Happy 2024! I truly hope this email finds you well, healthy, and happy.
While it’s that time of year when days are shorter and sunlight scarce, the need for withdrawal and hibernation feels prominent and very necessary now. I believe this is exactly what we should do – pause, rest, reflect, and replenish. Even if the Sun doesn’t shine much outside, you can still invite its radiant power and vitality through meditation, using the power of your third eye and your powerful imagination. Take this winter phase to tend to your inner garden and nourish your seeds and intentions for the year ahead.
I’m writing this post today because this Thursday, January 11th, (triple 111) is the powerful new Moon in Capricorn and with it brings the perfect opportunity to sit down and set your intentions for the year ahead.
Capricorn is an earth sign, very grounded, entrepreneurial, patient, and ambitious. This new moon offers a chance to plant new seeds of intention and diligently work towards their manifestation. Capricorn’s energy helps us find the perseverance, patience, and determination needed to climb that mountain and bring our dreams into reality in a practical, realistic and grounded way. New moon cycles always bring a fresh opportunity to start again, with more energy and positivity and this particular moon is very important, because its the 1st of the year, therefore preparing sacred space and creating your intentions, goals, and wishes under this new moon will have a powerful, magnifying effect, promising longevity and reaping the fruits of your efforts.
So, if you intend to bring forward a new version of yourself, a new project, job, or relationship, grab that paper and write your intentions, preferably between January 11th and 13th. Invite the earthy energy of this new moon into your heart, body, and aura. Do not underestimate the power of ritual and intention, but like everything in life, you must show up and do the work…. inwards and outwards…vibration is everything, you must believe ad trust your vision and goal.
New Moon in Capricorn Ritual:
Create sacred space, light a candle and a incense, play some background gentle music, practise breathwork to bring stillness into your mind.
- Take a few moments in silence and meditation.
- Bring your hands to your heart and feel it blooming like a gorgeous flower, invite angelical light into your aura or cleanse your aura with palo santo or sage or smoke of choice.
- Activate your imagination and see yourself sitting next to a powerful oak tree on top of a beautiful natural hill. See yourself holding a seed in the palm of your left hand, whisper your wishes and intentions on this seed and plant it in the earth near this magical tree. Remember to tend to this seed and water it regularly with positivity and light. Like everything, wherever you place your energy will bear fruits. Tend to the the seed with daily positive affirmations and don’t take no for an answer. Roll up your sleeves and start working towards your vision in divine timing!
- Grab a blank paper and pen and journal freely:
- “What do I wish to build this year? What is my most audacious goal? What do I want to achieve and manifest into the physical world? Which practical steps and action can I take to start building my dream at this stage? Where do I need to cultivate patience? “
